Your journey begins with a Fiji Airways flight from Honolulu, landing at Christmas Island International Airport (CXI) in the mid-afternoon. We recommend arriving in Honolulu a day early to ensure smooth travel. Upon arrival at CXI, friendly lodge staff will welcome and transfer you to your accommodation. Remember to have your passport ready with at least six months validity and blank stamp pages, along with a valid COVID-19 vaccination card. For your return, consider staying overnight in Honolulu to explore more fishing opportunities and manage potential travel delays.

All travelers to Kiribati are required to posses a valid COVID vaccination card in order to enter the country. No pre-trip or post-arrival COVID testing is required.
